The 12th annual PSRI, M&E 2016 short course training started on 1st August, 2016 and ended on 12th August, 2016. The two week training was officially opened by the Director PSRI and closed by the Director School of Journalism, Dr. Ndeti Ndati on behalf of the Principal CHSS. In his remarks, the Principal observed that Monitoring and Evaluation of Population, Health and Development Programmes play a key role in decisions on the allocation of resources as well as being accountable to both the supporters of the programmes and the general public. He challenged the participants to emphasize the importance of M&E in institutions they represented. Participants were drawn from central and county governments, universities, NGOs, research institutions, religious and the private sector among others. Participants were awarded certificates of attendance.
